The Project is to provide drinking water facility to six DS divisions in the Kandy District
We had the privilege to provide our service for Design of reservoirs, valve houses and pump houses for SINOHYDRO CORPORATION LIMITED, for the following reservoir site of the Kandy North

SINOHYDRO CORPORATION LIMITED, a company duly organized and existing under the laws of the Peoples’ Republic of China whose registered address in Sri Lanka is “Hotel Sunrich, Hedeniya, Kandy, Sri Lanka” was the Contractor of Kandy North Pathadumbara Integrated Water Supply Project. The Project is to provide drinking water facility to six DS divisions in the Kandy District. The project scope consists of 86 km of transmission pipeline and all transmission pipes are ductile iron pipes.
We had the privilege to provide our service to SINOHYDRO CORPORATION LIMITED, for initial condition surveying, covering all adjacent properties to the proposed pipeline routes. We developed a GIS database, containing the existing condition, highlighting the recordable distresses of all the properties along the proposed pipe route, whilst linking necessary photos with GPS coordinates of individual structure.
The job was really challenging due to sensitiveness of the public and social factors of the respective community. Support of our in-house experienced Engineers was the key to our success in this exercise as the proper identification was crucial in terms of structural integrity of the respective properties.
Central Expressway – Section 1
Central Expressway – Section 1, from Kadawatha to Mirigama is one of the major infrastructure projects in Sri Lanka, covering 37km road length. Road Development Authority is the Client of the project, whereas Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC) is the Contractor of the project. We were entrusted to provide structural designs for a road length of 20km including viaducts, bridges and box culverts. The project became challenging due to being within a major floodplain in the country. There we handle all kinds of complicated highway structures including interchanges.
